I have always loved being in, around and near water and developed a greater love for it when I joined my local triathlon club.
I am passionate about the promotion of swimming for Black and Asian Women (@SoulSwimmersUK) and I aim to make swim bike run (aka triathlon) accessible to all.
As well as being an Open Water Coach I’m a BTF Level 3 Triathlon Coach; YMCA Level 4 Personal Trainer; UK Athletics Coach in Running Fitness; Level 2 British Cycling Coach and started Triathlon coaching in 2008 at 2 local Triathlon Clubs working adults & juniors from novice to Age Groupers/Elite athletes.
I have coached 1:1 athletes to podium positions at the European Champs/Worlds Grand Final.
Two of my biggest achievements have been coaching an Olympian and being awarded the BBC SPOTY Unsung Hero Award for the London Region.
